On-Site: I come to your office or home. | |

Off-Site: You come to my office or I complete your work at my office. | |

Telephone: This usually requires that we both have the same product and product version installed on each of our computers. It sometimes requires I restore a backup of your data to my computer. Either the client calls me or I bill the client for any long distance toll charges incurred. | |

E-mail: Works the same as telephone support, but we communicate via e-mail instead. Clients normally use e-mail to send backups of their data. | |

Modem/Internet: Using Windows XP Remote Access or a program like Symantec's PC Anywhere, I can dial into your computer via the phone lines or internet to provide help. This requires you purchase and install any necessary software. You can watch as I control the session, or I watch as you perform the tasks in question. Modem/Internet support is normally done in conjunction with telephone support. |
